The Oregon School of Natural Hoof Care was established to provide affordable basic training in hoof care and to encourage study and research in the function of a natural equine hoof. It is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about hooves and develop the skills to work with equines on a private or professional level. Besides benefiting from the one-on-one instruction of our skilled teachers, guest speakers and a huge library of hoof-care books and media, students become part of a widening network of owners, trainers, and hoof care practitioners who are creating a new and liberated life style for domestic horses. We listen as well as teach, seeking always to find new solutions to the problems common in domestic horses, especially lameness, founder, and hoof deformity.
